🎨 Help Find Missing Erskineville Artwork 🆘

Local artist Rachael Egan is searching for a large painting that went missing during her house move this week. The artwork was left on the footpath on Bray Street in Erskineville briefly and has disappeared. The piece took over 100 hours to paint and was meant to be a centrepiece in an upcoming exhibition. If you've seen it or know where it is, please get in touch.

👉 Contact Rachael via @unsoftserve on Instagram or message us and we'll pass it on.

🏡 Home of the Week 🏘

Image courtesy of Cobden Hayson Annandale

Business in the front, party at the back. This four-bedroom Leichhardt home is heritage looking from the street but opens to a modern entertainer's dream: Carrara marble kitchen, Miele appliances, resort-style pool with cabana, and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The master upstairs includes a walk-in robe, study, and ensuite. Set on 483sqm with voice-operated blinds and sheep wool carpets, it's walking distance to Norton Street.

🏠 Would You Sell Your Home as Part of a Mega Lot?

Last week we mentioned four homes on Wrights Road, Drummoyne, being sold together under new R3 zoning that allows six-storey apartments. We asked Inner Westies on Instagram what they'd do, and the split was revealing: 48% said yes, they’d sell if the price is right, 31% said no, 20% are renting and watching it unfold, and 1% would only do it if everyone else agreed.

The question sparked debate, revealing how divided locals are between supporting new development and protecting the character that defines the Inner West. As similar deals start to pop up across the Inner West, it’s not hypothetical anymore.

What do you think, and what do you reckon it’ll sell for? Hit reply and let us know.

Pyrmont-Ultimo Gets Major Growth Plan

The Pyrmont-Ultimo Local Area Plan has been released, setting out how the precinct will grow with up to 27,000 new jobs and 4,800 homes. The plan comes from years of work between City of Sydney, Transport for NSW, Planning and the local community. It shows how developer contributions will be put back into parks, childcare centres, footpaths and better public spaces, making sure growth benefits the people who actually live there. Together with the Wentworth Park Vision, the plan will shape how people live, work and play across Pyrmont-Ultimo. It's designed as smart, integrated planning rather than quick spot rezoning.
