Keep Kids Busy Guide 🧒 👶 

🛝 Park Picnic @ Burwood Park: Located in the heart of Burwood with only a 5 minute walk to the shops and Westfields. It has an enclosed playgrounds with shaded shelters, dog off leash areas, outdoor fitness stations, large sporting field, outdoor chess boards, pond, BBQ's, picnic areas, cafe, rotunda, cricket pitch and an outdoor chess board. The Picnic Cafe is located within the park if you are after lunch or snacks. The park is a 5-minute walk from Burwood Station.

🏰 Convene on the Green: Head there on the 2nd Friday of each month and let the kids wear themselves out on the jumping castle. Bar open from 2 PM & bistro from 3 PM. Check out the menu here. Friday 8 November | 4 PM to 6 PM - 77 Brighton St, Petersham

🎨 Public Schools Arts Festival: Opening night: Friday 8 November from 5:30 PM featuring food, music, dance, art, and good times! Exhibition open 8 to 17 November at Stirrup Gallery. Monday to Friday 1 PM to 4 PM, Weekends 11 AM to 3 PM. Addison Road Community Centre, Marrickville

🧑‍🎨 Creative Kids Club: Beaded Suncatcher Sculpture: Use beads, string and yarn to make a sparkly, colourful suncatcher. | Saturday 9 November | 11:30 AM to 1 PM - Burwood Library and Community Hub, 2 Conder Street, Burwood 2134

🚲️ Balance Bike Clinic @ Sydney Park Cycling Centre: Kids start on balance bikes and once confident, can move onto pedal bikes. Run by Bikewise and CoS. Interactive class designed to get parents involved. Suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years. Bikes and helmets are provided, or you can BYO. Turn up between 9 AM to 10:45 AM and register with the instructors at the Sydney Park Cycling Centre. Every Saturday 9 AM to 11 AM except public holidays and during our Christmas break - 410-416 Sydney Park Road, Alexandria

🏉 Daughters & Dads Football Program: Burwood Council, with Football NSW and AISO, presents a program connecting fathers and daughters through football activities, aiming to boost female participation in the sport. | Sunday 10 November | 9:30 AM to 11 AM - Burwood Girls High School
