🎷 Festival of Balmain 🎉

Darling Street transforms into a summer street party on Sunday 30 November with three stages of live music celebrating jazz and fresh sounds from SUB-TRIBE, Son Patacore, ALIBII and Yulugi. There will be roving performances with oversized puppets, creative workshops, a Dog Zone at Gladstone Park, Balmain Village Markets stalls, local brewers and distillers, plus kids' activities. The event includes AUSLAN interpretation at Darling Street stage, a Sensory Space and an accessible drop-off point. Road closures will be in place, so catch public transport or ride your bike.

Lee Duncan brings her three-hour Inner Altar ceremony to St Peters on Saturday 29 November, blending Hapé, transformational breathwork and Spinal Energetics to help clear stagnation and reconnect with your body's intelligence. Lee is a physiotherapist who merges western medicine with ancient traditions, creating a nurturing space for release and realignment. I've done one of her breathwork sessions (my first ever) and walked out feeling genuinely lighter and recharged.

Inner West local Georgia (of Georgia Draws a House) is hosting her annual Christmas Market at her Petersham studio on Saturday 29 November from 8am. There will be artist and maker stalls, Santa's craft workshops, the Inner West Christmas Street Choir, plus Georgia drawing houses live in the window (pay whatever you feel) and take it home on the spot. A festive way to support local independent artists and small businesses, with all purchases going directly to the creators.
