Shaun Christie-David is the founder of Plate It Forward, a social enterprise using hospitality to address food insecurity and unemployment. His restaurants—Colombo Social in Enmore, Kabul Social in Sydney's CBD, Kyiv Social in Chippendale and Kolkata Social in Newtown—employ refugees and asylum seekers, providing them with training and job opportunities. Each meal purchased supports the initiative's mission to donate meals to those in need, both locally and abroad.
