Sydney Brewery has officially opened in Rozelle, taking over the former White Bay Brewing site with a taproom full of award-winning craft beers and a kitchen that's ready to feed you. The new spot is pouring crisp lagers and limited-edition brews Thursday to Sunday, with a logo that pays homage to the Rosella and Balmain Tigers, a proper nod to the local area. Whether you're after a casual pint or planning a bigger session, this could be your new local.

📍Sydney Brewery Rozelle, 26B Mansfield St, Rozelle
🕛 Thursday to Saturday 12pm – 10pm & Sunday 12pm – 9pm (kitchen closes 1hr earlier)

Marrickville Road has a new drawcard: Pippo's Pizza e Cucina, where seasoned pizzaiolo Stefano and his children Salvatore and Cassandra are dishing up wood-fired Sicilian classics. The menu's all about tradition - house-made pasta, tender squid with chilli and garlic, and their signature Pippo pizza topped with fior di latte, spicy salami, pecorino and hot honey. Walnut timber, marble and the glow of the wood-fired oven make it the kind of neighbourhood spot where you'll want to settle in with wine and shared plates. Dine-in, takeaway and delivery available.

📍 139 Marrickville Rd, Marrickville / Tuesday to Wednesday 5pm – 9pm, Thursday to Saturday 5pm – 10pm

A Queen Anne Federation home reworked by Studio Panetta, this double-fronted Haberfield classic runs on Italian terrazzo, Tongue & Groove French Oak floors and steel-framed doors around an internal garden room. The family hub is a 4m island kitchen with Wolf induction cooktop, oven and butler’s pantry, opening to a terrace with built-in barbecue, wet bar and heated mosaic-tile pool. With a luxe master retreat, upstairs family room and smart home tech, it’s 672sqm of very polished “garden suburb” living. Good luck getting everyone out of the pool at inspection.
